Practical Life
The practical life area provides many opportunities for children to develop character, social and life-long learning skills.
Children engage in the use of familiar objects in ways that foster their developmental needs.
Sensorial
Through the use of sensorial materials children refine their senses that enable them to classify their external environment.
Classified impressions serve as building blocks in the process of brain development.
Language
The language curriculum includes both English and Arabic materials and instructions. Children are
provided with a language-rich environment that allows them to systematically gain strong foundation in oral, reading, and writing skills over the three-year period.
Mathematics
In the Mathematics curriculum, through the use of specialized concrete materials, children are able to develop solid understanding of numbers 1-10, and confidently use the decimal system in performing
the operations of addition, multiplication, subtraction, and division over the three-year period.
Culture
The cultural curriculum is a vast area that introduces children to the various disciplines in the study of the natural world such as zoology, astronomy, botany, history, and geography.
This area lends itself in learning about Allah and His creation in a natural and holistic manner. Children's Islamic identity and view of life is nurtured with experiences and exercises that help them gain an awareness of what Muslims believe and what they do.
